Design Your Own Railroad (1993 Abracadata) A model railroad simulation. The heart of the game is being able to sketch and design your own custom railroad track plan. From there, one is able to add terrain, buildings, rivers and more. Then place customizable trains onto the track and swap between them to change the switches on the track. There is even a simple trading simulation feature where goods must be transported between destinations on time. Tracks can be imported from "Design Your Own Train", "Run Your Own Train" or "Train Library". Drawing is simple, and all commands are covered in the Help menu. You can even run a quick interactive tutorial on startup (type: RR DEMO). Setting are stored in text format in the top level file "SETTINGS.DEF", and layouts are also stored in the top level, with the extension "*.RR". Because this software is primarily a model layout sketching CAD program, track plans can be printed to one of several printer types. NOTE: This is (uninstalled) software version 1.35. To avoid file overwrites it is suggested that you install from "\DYOR" (as the default directory name is "\RR").
